The juice for this peach nectar comes exclusively from the White Peach variety. This peach variety is characterized by a particularly intensive aroma and a rich mouthfeel.

The difference between "nectar" and juice is that water may be added to nectar, in this case 50%.

Bellini Cocktail Recipe:

Hardly any other city can combine such a refined culture with heightened joie de vivre as Venice. No wonder this is also the birthplace of many sophisticated cocktails such as the Bellini. This cocktail was created by Giuseppe Cipriani from Harry's Bar who also invented the carpaccio.

The cocktail dates from 1948 and met the high demands of guests such as Ernest Hemingway and Truman Capote. The combination of white peach and dry prosecco (one of ours can be called a Frizante as a better choice - see the Fair Wines range) with a splash of black currant juice from which the cocktail derives its intriguing color, was naturally given a matching name; Bellini. This Renaissance painter gained fame as a true master of color use.

Nevertheless, the cocktail can easily be made with:

- 5 cl dry Prosecco or Frizzante
- 4 cl White peach nectar
- 1 splash of Nahmen Schwarze Johannisbeere

Mix all ingredients well cooled and pour into a nice wine glass.
