Fruit processing has a long tradition in our family. Founded in 1917 as a Rheinische Apfelkraut factory, we started producing fruit juices in 1930. We initially did this on behalf of third parties.
Although we are already the third and fourth generation, we stick to the artisanal press techniques. We squeeze all the fruit ourselves, because it influences the quality, consistency and we can maintain our own standards, which exceed the legal requirements and regulations.
At the ANUGA World Fair for Food and Beverages we received the Bundesehren award from the German Ministry of Agriculture. In addition, in 2010, the ÖKO TEST magazine tested our "apple juice from traditional orchards" as very good in a test with more than 20 naturally cloudy apple juice. No wonder that Van Nahmen's products find their way to the top of the international catering industry.
