Oregano is an intriguing herb. The regular supermarket variant is okay, say, nothing wrong with it. But for those who are nothing wrong, just join in on cursing in church, we recommend a trip to the wild Greek or za'atar mixtures. The Greek is pure wild oregano, za'atar is basically a type of oregano that is grown around Lebanon / Syria, but we mainly encounter it in a mix with sesame seeds and often also some sumac and (the Palestinian variant) a little olive oil.
We buy the Greek oregano in bulk, in the form of kilo bags, but you can also get it in a jar or vacuumed in a refill bag.
With the 'refills' we pack a sticker so that you can stick it on your own jar or something similar.
