A very nice gin fired by Arjan Smits Tasting the Pronckheer. The gin-based malt wine is based on an old recipe that goes back five generations. The Kromme Rijn is an extension of the Betuwe and there is also plenty of cultivated fruits. We make this fruit also an Eau de Vie, water of life. After fermentation of the fruit, the pulp in a traditional copper pot distilled twice and drank made, packaged and sold under their own label. We also have a partnership with the cheese farm Brienenshof from Cothen together we make cheese geaffineerd with our own water of life. A truly local product!
